FAQ
My city is not in the list.
Pick the nearest one in the same zone — offsets are identical across a zone, so the board will be correct. The list is deliberately short to keep the dropdown usable.
Why does the board change when I change the date?
Because offsets do. The northern and southern hemispheres switch to summer time on different dates, so two cities can be five hours apart in June and four in January.
What do the colours mean?
Green means every location you added is inside its working hours for that UTC hour. Amber means some are. Grey means nobody is — or at least nobody who should be answering.
Can I change what counts as working hours?
Yes, the two sliders set the window, and it applies to every location. A single shared window keeps the board readable; per-city windows turned it into a spreadsheet.
Is anything sent to a server?
No. The page is static and the calculation happens in your browser. The only network requests are for the page itself, its stylesheet and its script.
Does it work offline?
Once loaded, yes — nothing else is fetched. There is no service worker, so a reload still needs the network.
